1. Sunset Coast
Commencing at Cottesloe beach and heading north throughout Marine Parade, you can venture along the West Coast highway and stop off at the highest point on Perth’s stunning coast – Reabold Hill, for a breathtaking view of Perth. This stunning drive along the coast will take a good day if you want to hop out and have a swim at any of the amazing beaches along the coast.
2. Freo to Rockingham
Escape the busy nature that surrounds the Perth Central Business District and drive down to Fremantle. There are some great cafes and restaurants in the fishing boat harbour, and you can even grab a big breakfast and coffee to keep you going for the remainder of your drive. If you continue to drive down south you will reach the scenic drive, cruising along Rockingham’s beautiful foreshore. Drive down Perth’s stunning coastline, from Palm Beach to Safety Bay. You can even stop off for a swim on a warm Summer’s Day – perfect for a family outing.
3. Swan River
The beautiful banks of the Swan River are surrounded with some of the most exclusive properties Perth has to offer. You can drive through stunning suburbs such as Peppermint Cove and Matilda Bay, all with stylish cafes to enjoy a coffee. If you continue further you will reach Mosman Park and the panoramic views overlooking the iconic Swan River. This is definitely a trip you will want to bring your camera on.
4. Serpentine National Park
Escape the hustle and bustle of Perth and visit the breath taking Serpentine National Park. This is the ideal picnic spot where you can swim in the watering hole or walk through the lovely nature parks. You will truly feel like you’re on a holiday in this destination.
